PBEM setup help

Newbie question. I set up a email game for a friend of mine and myself and we have to manually mail the game files to each other. The game asks for your email address, so it would seem to me that the game should handle the sending of the file automatically. What am I missing?

I have always wondered myself why the empire has a spot for your email address, cause it definetly doesn't use it as far as I can tell. Must have been one of those features that missed the final cut or something.

Heh, I figured everybody already knew about PBW. Actually I kind of assumed he was either playing turn-based, or wanted to do it PBEM for some reason. Some people do ya know. I can't not talk to them just because of it.

Yep that would be me. I've checked out PBW and may get into a game sometime in the future, but right now my friend and I want to learn the basics on our own (at least get in a game or two).

Np. If it's just the two of you and you don't want to have to deal with files, you could try the Tcp/ip. Although you both have to be Online for that to work of course.
