I am in a situation were the enemy has a fleet sitting over a warp point. I have enough drones on the other side to blow the ships to bits. I give the drones orders to attack the warp point. Next turn I see that third of the drones have warped but they all have been destroyed because they didn't warp together. Two thirds of the drones are still sitting on the other side with orders to warp.
I have seen drones attacking simultaneously when they aren't going through a warp point. My drones are identical so this isn't about having different amount of movement points. Can anyone confirm this bug? If this keeps happening I might lose the game.
Shift-select all of the drones at once, and warp them together. Giving separate orders causes separate execution of them. It is not a bug, it is how it is supposed to work. Unless, of course, you did shift-select them and give them all one big order. Then, it would be a bug. But, it does not sound like that is what you did.
I did shift-select them when I gave the orders. But even if i hadn't shift-selected them they should have all attacked. Now only part of them obeyd those orders. The rest are just waiting on the warp point with warp order visible in their order queue.
