Re: OT - Star Wars Ep III
There was a lot of laughter in the audience in each of the scenes where Anakin and Padme are together, and Anakin says something that is supposed to sound sweet and loving.

Re: OT - Star Wars Ep III
Amazing. Absolutly amazing. Was in line for the midnight showing, dressed as an Imperial Captain in a uniform my wife made for me. The experiance was... breathtaking.
Note to those who haven't seen it: expect nothing, you will be impressed. Expect too much and you'll be disappointed. That seems to have been the problems with EpI & II.
Grim. And dark. As far as I'm concerned, this very adaquately displays Anakins slide to the Dark Side. Pure evil. There's no doubt in my mind that Darth Vader is the ultimate villian.
I'm actually reconcidering taking my 5 yr old daughter. She's as excited as I was to see it though so I don't think I'll be able to keep her away from it. I'll just have to brace her for some of the darker, scarier parts.
My hat's off to GL on this one. Definetly

Re: OT - Star Wars Ep III
From what I've heard about it, it might be best if you didn't take her.

Re: OT - Star Wars Ep III
Yay for all who saw it at 12:01AM!!!!
I thought it was a good movie. Definately recommend it for all to see(But maybe not for young children. There may not be blood and gore, but there sure are alot of lost limbs. Did anyone else notice how there was a hand slicing off fetish?). My suggestion for a better viewing is to let yourself be amazed at what GL can do with what you already know is gonna happen in the movie. I'm probably gonna see it again on Monday since it's a holiday! Woohoo!
Here's a little quiz: Name the 4 characters that appear in all 6 movies.
PS. hmm...do you think Order 66 would work against the Heroes in SEV?

Re: OT - Star Wars Ep III
Hmm - Darth Vader, the Emperor, Yoda, Obi-wan Kenobi?
Off the top of my head, Aniken Skywalker and Darth Sidiuos (I think) for the real names of the first two.
Just guessing.

Re: OT - Star Wars Ep III
I say Obi Wan, R2D2, C3P0, and Anikan. Ani because technically Darth Vader and him are the same person.

Re: OT - Star Wars Ep III
I saw it last night and enjoyed it a lot. Quite well done (aside from the usual star wars dialogue complaints) with lots of excellent lightsabre battles and some nice continunity touches to the original trilogy.
Some of the background scenery was just absolutely stunning, particularly the nighttime shots of the Corusant city.
