Re: CarCrash - EA Game - CBM - (Running)
Sorry for the incovenience..I´ve had to travel without warning and couldn´t make it in time..Many thanks calahan for the delay..and for doing it for sake of a fun and balanced game .. but even though i was the offender i sort of agree with zapmeister..most of the time it's possible and better to ask for a delay..and i deserved it

Glad that at least someone benefited from my pro-active actions

Must admit I never really thought of viewing a stale as a 'punishment' for not asking for a delay. Interest concept though Although there is always the question mark over whether a player didn't ask for a delay because they couldn't (no net connection, unexpected travel, many other obvious things). But like I said, I won't take any pro-active stale actions again unless others think it is a good idea. (currently see 2-0 against)
From an in-game perspective, I tend to view stales as just an extremely bad random event. "Your entire nation is on strike for the month" Could be worse I guess.

Re: CarCrash - EA Game - CBM - (Running)
It's now me who needs a delay this turn. I have added 4 hours so I can do my turn tomorrow morning rather than trying to do it tonight and vainly attempt to fight off the sandman at the same time.
Starting next turn I will be extending the hosting to 36 hours. This is not a big increase on the current 30 hour schedule, but an extra 6 hours would have been enough for the three recent delays (although only this current one was actually requested) to not have been required. Also very few games have such a quick schedule this close to turn 50, so I think we have had a pretty quick game so far. And I ask again to please post if you feel strongly that the hosting should remain at 30 hours (or if you think it should be increased to more than 36 hours)
Sorry again about the slight delay.

I'm sure the admin won't mind delaying the game a bit.

Well I hope he doesn't get too angry, since I am sadly going to need another delay this turn And a proper 24 hour one this time at that.
So sorry everyone, but I have very little time tonight to do my turn, and tomorrow I am out for the entire day watching a sporting event (which wasn't confirmed 100% until today). So won't get chance now to get the turn sorted until Sunday afternoon/evening (llamaserver time)
