Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)
So we have been waiting on man for several days now... guess I will drop him a pm.
I would understand if he wanted to drop out of the game at this point, TBH. He's been fighting a micro-heavy loosing battle for a while now. also he seems to always loose due to inferior scripting, which can be enfuriating...
if we do loose the man player, I recomment putting it ai.

Putting him AI... That might be...
Truthfully I've finished this war. His last stand army is down and he's only got a small fleet of commanders in my territory that I'm taking care of this turn. The march is back on and I'll be seiging his cap by turn 44.
It was a difficult fight honestly. Him finding the site that gave him astral mages made this a whole lot harder (Anti-Magic is a pain in the arse) and heavily saved him from utter slaughter at the hands of Eye of the Void equiped Mind Hunters.

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)
what do people think, shal we update the game to 3.25 when it comes out?
I could see an arguement not to, since apparently there is always a chance that it breaks the save game.

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)
Hmm looking over the changelog for it it doesn't seem to have any mechanic changers or big things (mostly cosmetic and little unimportant things (Made Yoginis female for example... Did that really matter?))
I say stay with 3.24.

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)
Does that mean I wouldn't be able to patch my game at all? Is it possible to have 3.25 on your PC, but still run 3.24 for some of your games?

Arco is so far out of league for Shino its not funny.
What was the plan from my precedessor?
Look threatening with big number armies and roll over when somebody goes to war?

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)
@ Earwick: I have my dominions in a folder called 'dominions 3.14' and plan to patch into a folder called 'dominions 3.15'. thats fine for the game, if you have the disk space for it. I'd be up for patching over this game, but if it bugged out it would be tragic.
@ Korwin: I don't think he was a terribly skilled player TBH. no idea what he had planned.

Excellent... never even considered that.
However, wouldn't the beta team catch a saved games bug? Or has stuff like that gotten through in the past?

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)
Llamabeast is recommending that everyone just go ahead and patch the game, as he says it is extremely difficult to keep a game going otherwise, as one of the players will inevitably patche their version. However, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea for everyone to make a backup of their trn and 2h files before submitting their last unpatched turn.
