I just downloaded the Fantasy Mod. I'll have to look over the data files to see what the structure is. Just for starters, I'd probably just try re-naming the basic SEIV stuff to a more Spelljammer-esque environment, and then tweak it from there.

Any other ideas? (nervously glancing towards the Imperator...)

Woundwort, the Magic and Organic races have plenty of items done already. I just haven't gotten around to updating the site yet. Try actually getting the mod and looking at it instead.

Pretty much the only major thing that needs to be done still is to totally revamp the weapons system.

Adamant mod could be turned into a "spelljammer only" system by just having only Magic races in the game.

How about instead of making a separate mod, you could just help with Adamant Mod?

That's a dangerous suggestion, as it appeals to the inherent lazy side of my personality...

Let me slip into "lurk & ponder" mode about this (this will also give me a chance to look over the Adamant and Fantasy Mods in detail, and go over the Adamant Mod thread) and get back to you all.

Hugh, this does not let you off the hook as far as finishing that Spelljammer shipset, however...

Nice set, especially that infantry. I'm going to enjoy playing as these guys. I find the colours/ textures a little fussy but that's probably just me.

Oh, and you need to rename the shields pic in the zip file, it's still labelled amonkrie.

Very nice. Thank you for posting your race.
May I just suggest that you include a General.txt file for your race. You don't have to be an expert for AI to make this, but the General.txt file determines how you see your race. You can take a file of the original standard SE IV races and modify the text according to your ideas.
