OK, that IS a very annoying website. Those popup boxes were funny for a while but quickly got very irritating. I had to CTRL-ALT-DEL and kill the explorer to get rid of it!

my name comes from an actual episode of pinky and the brain, where brain causes an evil superintelligent computer to explode by asking it for the definition of narf. i picked it for my name becuase when i registered, i was waiting for #3 in that story arc. but if it's annoying, i'll change it.

Narf, my main eyesore with your login name is not the name itself per say, but that length. When you post a new topic your name takes up 2 lines of space.

Don't change your name just because of me. You are not the only person with a long name and you won't be the Last. I'll get used to it soon enough, and as you can see by how I started this post, I have shortened it to simply Narf! Consider this my new nick-name for you!

David, I'm guessing you're using 800x600 resolution? Cause with my, I'm running 1024x768 and his name is one line. And it is only slightly longer then yours. Not by much, maybe 4 letters or so. Just an observation.

I'm too scared to try Version 2 of the most annoying web page. Version 1 was really annoying, so Version 2 must be even more annoying! Hmm, maybe I'll go to somebody else's computer and put it on that web page, and then walk away. And see how long it takes them to get rid of it...

Rags, as you can see from this clipped image of a screenshot of the forum, I'm running in 1024x768.

Harf's post takes up 2 lines because the BOOM part of his name is wrapped to the second line. I suspect it's the 'Caps' that are causing this. There is a thread by 'General Woundwort' that fits snugly in the space allowed.
