Default help with Pirates and Nomads mod?

I went to http://www.geocities.com/hohoho611ca/imagepack2sg.html

Downloaded all the modpacks listed, and put them in the indicated directories:

c:...\pictures\components
for the Componentpack
c:...\pictures\facility
for the FacilityPack
and so on.

But, when I try to design a ship (after launching with the modpicker 2.26 and selecting "Pirates and nomads V3.1pbw"), I see no small picture for "mount reports" (though I do see a big picture when I right click it to bring up a description) and while I DO see the figure of three men (blue, red, green) in the small image for "Swashbucklers", when I right click, I get the error message: "Cannot open file c:\progra~1\shrapn~1\malfad~1\space empires gold iv\pictures\components\comp_286.bmp."

Please let me know if I'm doing something obviously wrong...

Comp 286 has no portrait graphic. SJ made one for it, and it should have been in the latest Comps pack. Edit: Here is a link: 1060545937.zip

Thanks. That did the trick. And, the blank for "Mount reports" is intentional, I am guessing, since it's a place holder?

What exactly is "Mount Reports"? Is it a component, or the mounts button in the top right? If it is the mounts button, you will need to select a ship hull size before any mounts can show up.

It's one of the components choices that appears in ship design. Unlike other components (e.g., engines) it has no picture. If I right click this empy square, I see a big picture and a statement that it is a place holder.

That was just a fake component so when you looked at the expected research developments, you would see something.

The latest Version of SE4 reports mounts now, and those mount reports should have been removed from the latest P&N Version.

Actually, IIRC they do show up as expected results, but when you actually research them, you don't get a log message, so maybe leaving them in would be a better idea... How about making them obsoleted by some simple component like Bridge or something so they don't show up in the components list?

Well, I put them at the very end and had them all the same family, so you only see one and they're out of the way.
