Star Wars Mod?
Anyone,
I am trying to find a working Star Wars mod for SE4G, but the one listed on the Malfador website (Star Wars Mod II) seems to lead to a dud link.
Where else can I look?

...there was a "Star Wars/Sci-Fi Crossover Mod" done awhile ago. The guy who did it (Andres) had mentioned updating it to a full "Star Wars II Mod", but I'm not sure what the progress is on it (sounds like it's not done yet). His website may have further details...

This mod is not on the spaceports mirror.
The cyberways site has been coming offline from time to time lately, and perhaps will work again soon. It may work again in a few days.
Actually I haven't worked on my site lately, I have an incomplete mess in the cyberwars and spaceports servers. I'd also have to request extra space for this mod in spaceports, and uploading 20 Mb is hard using dial-up. Some other Users have also offered to host it.
The mod is not fully finished but the finished parts should be enough to make it playable.
Limitations are:
1- only the Empire and Rebels (probably also Outlaw races in next Version) have their onwn fully working racial traits. Other races will have to use the "standard SE4" racial trait or one of the former.
2- No AI has been optimized, AI should use "standars SE4" tech, random picked AI will do it by default.
3- I forgot to include nebulae pics from Fyron's Quadrant Mod Deluxe in the downloads, but I will next time.
Anyway, Mike, thanks for your interest, I would have abandoned this project if it wasn't for people like you bugging me from time to time.

Andres, I will host your site on spaceempires.net if you would like. Space and bandwidth are not an issue. You can have a url like kdy.spaceempires.net (or whatever subdomain you want).

Yeah thanks Fyron.
That would solve the hosting problem.
Now I will need a some more free time, so I can: - finish the major revision the long neglected site has been needing and I intended to make as I uploaded things to the new server.
- finish at least adding tha basic techs of the outlaw racial trait I intended to do before uploading the mod in question again.
- finishthe couple of almost finished shipsets I've had here for months.
- 20 or 30 other things I can't recall right now.
Can you make PBW get offline again and make me casually lose the master password of the game I'm host of so the other players don't bug me to run the turns? And while you do that you can arrange to send all my family on holidays as far away as possible.. make my dial-up modem work 20 times faster...
Let's do this, while you get things ready so I can upload things into spaceempires (that url will do), I'll try to remember what I was doing and finish all details I intended to add before uploadign so I don't end up uploading another copy of the same current incomplete Version.
Once we're ready I'll probably upload this mod before anything else.

About the starwars mod you were requesting.
I'm compiled Last additions and changes I had made in the source XLS files into the data files and corrected all errors to make the mod load correctly.
I'm playtesting a little to check for errors and also if I have forgotten anything important, and will attempt to upload it to se.net tonight.
