Thanks bunches, my little spy buddy! Sorry to put you on the spot. I like full tech games once in a while...they give a bit of relief from KOTH style games where you don't often get a chance to "play with ALL the toys" .
I would say I do OK at them. But it's always a creepy feeling playing them. Scary!
There are at least 2 players out there who like this sort of game...Parabolize and Primitive. I haven't checked their combination in ranking but I suspect THEY could be a possibility.

Re: Rated Challenges Thread
Have another update: Geo vs PD, turn 56 or so. I surrender..ship tech was on parity, but Geoschmo moved fast enough to get most of the quadrent and beat me to a critical choke point.
I held him off for a while, and even drove him out of the choke briefly, but some boarding ships and a few sneaky tricks won the day.
First time I've had a reason to successfully deply Planetary Napalm, though. And on turn 50 there was a very strange moment: two ships, both armed with DUCs. One mine one his. They killed each other..in SE4's combat system, how is that even possible?!

Ah, I was wonderign why no more turns.
The reason both ships were destroyed was simple. My ship was set to capture your ship, and your ship had a SDD. That's how SDD is supposed to work.

I thought I had sent enough turns in for the surrender to go through? Guess not.
Looking at the replay, it didn't seem like they were close enough to board. Hmm.

Re: Rated Challenges Thread
Anybody with a rating of 1000 or more want to play a high tech team game on my side (Slynky and Alneyan the other side)?
