OT: For Fun
1. Grab a calculator. (you won't be able to do this one in your head)
2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the area code)
3. Multiply by 80
4. Add 1
5. Multiply by 250
6. Add the Last 4 digits of your phone number
7. Add the Last 4 digits of your phone number again.
8. Subtract 250
9. Divide number by 2
Do you recognize the answer?

Re: OT: For Fun
If I just remember the first three digits of my phone number and that complex procedure - I'll never forgot my whole phone number again!

Believe me, Atrocities, most of his Messages make no sense to me. I think it's all that cheese he loves so much. But that is a cute trick with the calculator. I'll have to print this out so I can show my family how to do it.

Re: OT: For Fun
Yes, this was posted before, and exaplained as well. It's not nearly as amazing as it seems when you break it all down.
Basically you are multiplying the first three digits of your phone number by 10,000 (moves it four decimal places to the left) and then adding the Last four digits of your phone number to that.
Miraculous!
All the other stuff is just irrelevant mathematical permutations that cancel each other out to make it seem more complicated then it really is.

I bet you were the kid who told the younger kids there was no such thing as Santa Clause. So who cares how it's done. It's still a neat trick.
