Re: New Ship Set Concept
The mottled green texture on the second ship type is very nice. It looks very organic. I'd like to see a "Vorlon" shipset with that texture.
The later post with the 'light saber' equipped ships looks a little bit too much like toys. I dunno if it's from the surfaces being too shiny or the glowing 'light saber' bars themselves but they just don't look realistic.

Re: New Ship Set Concept
Funny - that third set is my favorite of the three. I've nothing against glowing engines, and it's a new hull concept as opposed to the first two.

Re: New Ship Set Concept
Very nice AT, I like the glow effect. (Especially on the enterprise looking set.)
It makes me think that the shipset could be used to do a mod where there are several branches of the federation that break off and enter a sort of revolution. the ships would be the same, but each faction would have different glowing colors. (ie Orange like you have in your sample pics, blue, red, yellow, purple and green etc.)
There must be something good about your ships when they spark my dull immagination
Keep up the fantastic work. Cheers!

Re: New Ship Set Concept
AT
You could try wrapping bands around the glowing engine exhaust ports to minimize the light saber effect.
Third is interesting.
I like the Dark Enterprise (makes me think of Mirror, Mirror)
The green race reminds me of the newer Romulan ships
Great looking

Re: New Ship Set Concept
I agree with everyone here.
Katchoo used to do this with his doga sets and they were amongst my favourites. These look just as good.
Very Nice work, for a retired shipset builder.
