Re: @ DavidG: will there be further SE4Modder updates ?
Not AWOL. I gave myself an honourable discharge. I've quit playing SE4. too busy doing other things. (still got some spies here though so I popped in)
So no there won't be anymore SE4modder updates. At least none planned. I may get back into it in the future, who knows. (maybe when SEV comes out)
You may consider the latest Version as open source. Source code for ver 1.76 is here: (written in VB6)
http://www3.sympatico.ca/dgunstensen...rSource176.zip
P.S. My email address, changed to avoid the insane amount of spam has the 'dgunsten' changed to 'dgunstensen' Same with the 'dgunsten' part of any address to my webspace

Re: @ DavidG: will there be further SE4Modder updates ?
David,
Might I suggest you release the source (as you did) with some sort of official license (plenty of different open source licenses to choose from, beer or BSD fan myself (see http://opensource.org/licenses/ )). There seems to be community interest in your application and would hate for either somebody to rebrand it as their own or for you to take ownership of a future release somebody created based on your initial code release. As a developer myself 'You may consider the latest Version as open source' is extremely vague and doesn't spell out exactly what a developer can or cannot do with your code.
Not saying this will happen and we are a small community but there are always those off chances.

Re: @ DavidG: will there be further SE4Modder updates ?
Isn't there a "do whatever you want with it" license?
Oh yeah, public domain.

Re: @ DavidG: will there be further SE4Modder updates ?
I some how broke my SE4Modder program...and don't know how I did it...I've tried uninstalling, and deleting every reference to the program, and trying to reinstall...all to no avail...any ideas or help?

i say that you take off and nuke it from orbit. its the only way to be sure.
seriously, maybe its the install files or source that you are using. do they install on another machine? try downloading a different version? maybe some of the shared resources the program relies on are corrupted, or an incompatable version?

Is anybody (still) working on the SE4Modder? I personally use it to great satisfaction.

No. I believe DavidG after updating his program to work with the new additions in 1.91, decided to finish his work on it. I haven't seen him around for some time now.

Re: @ DavidG: will there be further SE4Modder updates ?
Ok I figured out what the problem was...and I thought I had already done this and didn't...
I had a folder that I was using for a mod that I was modifiying...I guess it got interlinked with the SE4Modder files...when I 'uninstalled' SE4Modder...
I deleted that mod folder, and SE4Modder worked just fine...
