Default To all my PBW games: notice of leave and looking for replacements

As the title says it, I will be away from Saturday, 26th of June to Saturday, 3rd of July. So I am currently looking for replacements in the following games:

- New Galactic Combat 4: Do you enjoy fighting for your survival? Do you love diplomacy when it is the only way out to save your hide? Then do not wait and take over this Empire. You have about three systems, fourty ships, and a war with an Empire quite a lot stronger than you.
- Adamant 011: A strong economy, a Magical race with a focus on religion and an advanced research. A war has just been started however, so you will likely see some action.
- Adamant 012: Another war, but this time *all* is put towards this war. Beware, however, for the foe is suicidal and will do all that he can think of to save the day.
- Fantasy Empires First Game: It has just started, so you have a lot of freedom about what to do there. Would you like to play an Elven race caught between two orc tribes? If so, what are you waiting for?
- The Great Experiment 3: You have the best economy available, the biggest Empire and the biggest fleet of all Empires. Expect a lot of micromanagement and quite a lot of diplomacy, as the biggest threat for this Empire is to be declared MEE and find an alliance of ten or so other Empires.
- PvK Proportions Game: A small Empire with a strong focus on Temporal and fighters, and diplomacy remains paramount here. If wished, you could very well get involved in a war or two, but nobody should start up a fight against you.

My other games should not require a replacement, and so are not listed here.

Thanks in advance,
Alneyan

(Edited because of spelling. 3th?! Tsk... Last I checked, the word after second wasn't quite thirth or some such thing, but third. *Slaps self*)

Normally, people will just wait for you to get back to continue games. Perhaps it might be better to check each game and see what the players say before offering to be replaced.

And when you say replaced, do you mean only during the time you are gone (or do you mean permanently)?

Finally, if any of these games are rated for you, that causess a problem.

So, if you're heading down to St. Tropez, we expect GOOD pics to document the beach there ( ).

Yes, I received it and instead of responding to it, I responded to your message here (since it was on the same subject). TGE runs slow anyway, from what I hear (the reason I dropped out) so you MIGHT be able to go and return and the turn still not ready . But seriously, I'd hate to see you lose out on a possible rated win in that game (after all, the more points you have, the more Mark and I get from our win in "Grudge" ).

Well, you could argue that the said player won't alter the outcome of the game much, as he would only have to handle retrofitting, colonization and the incredibly interesting prospect of micromanaging. (The AI can handle the rest without too much problem)

Hmm, I am not making this look very appealing, am I? At least I am being honest I guess.

Thanks Greybeard, I emailed Geoschmo (and virtually all the owners of the games I am here) to tell them about my leave. If possible, I would rather not grind the game to a standstill because of my own absence, but if I am not the only one away it could be another story.

I'll be away from June 27 through the 30th too, and would be willing to have NGC4 and TGE put on hold while you are gone.

I sent an email to you about TGE3 yesterday Slynky, did you receive it? Or, knowing me, I sent it to the wrong address at your work. And I will also have to email the players in the 2vs2 game.

For the other games, I will indeed put my Empires on auto-pilot if nobody is willing to take over. The replacements would be intented to be temporary, but if someone does love a given gime, we shall see.

I am not going to St Tropez or anywhere in this vicinity. (Too hot! *Grumbles as he is wont to do*) I would gladly go to Ireland or even Scotland, but I guess that won't be for this year, and... Ahem, I am digressing here.

If NGC4, TGE3 were put on hold, that would be great for me - I'm gone from 24th - 29th...

thnaks,

NGC4 will run about on time (approximation), so set the "Ai will make no changes during simul turn", the same goes for NeGoC5, sorry.
