I think that a lot of people have already thought of this but since I haven´t seen it posted here I will do it.
I´ve read a lot of the AI stupidit in creating mining colonies in realy poor mine worlds. Well I changed the minimum resources a facility will give to 500 and I´m thinking of make it 600 or even 700. It won´t affect my strategy since i never make resource facilities in worlds that don´t pass 100%.

Well it does not work. Sorry to waste your time Jubala. In settings.txt there´s Minimum Empire Minerals Generation and my little brain made a big confusion. I´m a newbie in Space Empires 4 (and 3 and 2 and 1) and I posted this without testing it. I hope you can forgive me and give me a second chance. Sorry again.

Would you mind telling us just how you did that? I checked the mineral mining facilities in facility.txt but I found no value for minimum resource generation. I also looked in settings.txt but I didn't find it there either. And I checked abilities.txt to see if such an ability even existed but it did not. So how did you do it and are you sure it's actually working?
