MM, Aaron, Rich and the rest have been outstanding with support for SEIV, better then any other company that I know of. Howevr, time means money,& the more they spend on SEIV the less time they have to work on other projects. So I was just wondering if we post our ideas in 2 seperate catagories we could help them and us. The first one could be ideas, add-ons, etc, that could be put into upcoming patches, the rest which would be those that are more involved/which take longer to design, these could be put into an expansion pack and sold so they could make something for their time and outstanding support of the game and yet expand SEIV. Some Ideas could be

Catagory 1

Minor Tweaking
AI use ground troops to invade planets
AI use of baseships
PD issues
etc.

Catagory 2

Pirate Race
additional Races similiar to Mod 1.70
Nomad Race
Ideas from some of the other Mods
Etc.

What do you guys think? We could use this thread or design another if you think it is
a good idea.

I'm for that a long as we add the civil war idea to the second Category. I, along with many other players, would like to see this idea implemented.

If you don't know what it is check it out on the Intergalactic Civil War!!?? thread. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Chewy, I already read the civil war thread and it looks good and I like the idea, this would fall into the 2nd catagory. The ideas I listed in my post were only some examples, with all the good ideas on the forum I couldn't list them all, that should be done with everyones input.

Category 2: "non-player characters". Randomly generated battle fleets, pirate boarding ships, swarms of "space locusts" (organic fighters). Appear out of the blue, attack the nearest planet/ship and disappear after a couple of turns.
