Does anyone know if the shops get better items as the game goes on? I'm playing the normal adventure and I'm on level 3 of the Dungeon. I have alot of cash and the shops never seem to have any magic items, and all the items are crap compared to what I have. Do they ever get better items?

yes. I belive it works depending on your level when you return. The higher your level, the better the chance for magic items.
