ATF: Bihac Scenario
Hi,
Everytime I try to run Bihac 1 from the scenarion pack down load I get the following error message:
RUNTIME ERROR
PROGRAM\C:\PROGRAM FILES\ARMORED TASK FORCE\AFT.EXE
ABNORMAL PRGRAM TERMINATION.
I am running AFT 1.03. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix. All my other scenarios run fine.

Re: Bihac Scenario
Gary.
Forgive me if I am insulting. I just want to explore the simple solutions first...
Did you extract the zip package to the 'Data' subdirectory of your ATF install directory?
Did you try to run the scenario by starting ATF, selecting 'Begin New Game' from the start menu, and selecting 'Bihac 1:...'?
If neither of these are the problem, let me know and we can investigate further.

Re: Bihac Scenario
Hi Capt P
The scenario file was unzpped into the AFT data file and the only way I have tried to start the scenario is by clicking on Begin New Game.
I have now also down loaded Sand Castles, Battle of 73 Easting and Basra Attack Revised. all run fine. Bihac is the only scenario I am having a problem with.

Re: Bihac Scenario
The next recommendation I would make is that you try to re-download and re-extract to the Data subdirectory of the ATF install directory. It only takes a 1 bit corruption of data to break a file.

Re: Bihac Scenario
Speaking of the Bihac scenario, it is one of my Favorites. I played it about a half dozen times using different deployments.
My best showing was stopping the OPFOR forces cold (they suffered about 85% casualties of their total force) and I only lost two Bradleys and a Humvee.
Great scenario!

Re: Bihac Scenario
Hi Capt P,
Tried downloading files again. Still no change I'm afraid.

Re: Bihac Scenario
The next thing I would check is that the patch installed correctly. Load a scenario that DOES work and, after closing the order window, select "About" from the "Help" menu. Ensure that it says "Version 1.03". If it does not, download and reinstall that patch.
If that does not solve the problem, please try to load the scenario with ATF Scenario Builder. Does it open correctly?

Re: Bihac Scenario
Hi Capt P,
I tried the ultimate today and remastered my PC.
Loaded ATF and the dowloaded 1.03 and the scenario pack again. All seems to be working fine. The problem was obviously with my PC. Thanks for you prompt responses.
regards
Gary
