Default healing units

Is there a way to heal units with battle afflections??

also....

Is there a way to cure units from being diseased?
~~it's terrible watching a good unit slowly die~~

Immortal units also have a chance to lose an affliction when they come back to life. I don't have the % for that in front of me, or I'd let you know what it is. I *think* it is a pretty good chance, but I'm drawing a blank.

I remember a game where my Bog Mummy pretender had gotten the Mute affliction, which did not do wonders for his magical abilities. I deliberately sent him off to get killed. He picked up a Limp in that battle, but came back without Mute. For a unit who is just meant to stay in back and cast spells, trading Mute for Limp isn't bad at all.

What witches?

Fairy Queen can heal afflictions too but it's a high level summon so its not avaliable in demo.

In Doms 1 immortals healed their afflictions naturally, like most Pangaea units. "Suiciding" them wasn't needed, although it could speed up the recovery. Maybe this has changed in Doms 2?

No, they still heal over time. I do not remember if it is at the same rate it was in dom 1 though. Also, the faery queen is less adept at healing than the priestess is, so to get rid of a annoying affliction on a pretender or similar you might have to wait for quite some time.

I've had units with diseases and/or other afflections travel with a witch. After 7 turns the units only got worse. So I am quite sure witches do not heal battle afflections... only units low on hitpoints.

I though these girls had a strategic "heal" order. I wasn't speaking "tactically".

Yep, immortals do heal up slowly. My Bog Mummy had been crippled by the Mute affliction, so was as good as useless until I got it "fixed" for him.

I'm pretty sure witches can't heal, although it'd be a nice addition.
