Can\'t move units more than 1 province
OK, I must be missing something... I can't seem to move my units more than 1 province per turn. Yes, my units have more than 1 strategic move point, and no, they're not commanding any slower units. They're only travelling through friendly territory - does it have to be a friendly dominion as well? I tried selecting the unit then clicking where I want him to go, and nothing happened; I also tried clicking all the provinces in between the starting point and destination, but after the first province the movement arrow disappeared... what is it I'm missing?

Are you trying to cross mountains or a river? They'll stop movement cold for normal troops.

Re: Can\'t move units more than 1 province
Check the army movement speed on the commander or any of the units. If it's greater than 1, then check the terrain of the provinces that you're trying to cross. If your units (even one of them) don't have the appropriate survival ability, those terrains (any other than plains or farmland) will not allow the movement across them, as Psitticine said.

Thats right. You move 1 at a time.
UNLESS all the units you are trying to move have the terrain bonus needed to cross the terrains you are trying to cross. Like all of them having that deer thing on their unit display while you are trying to travel across provinces that the info says are woodland.

So pretty much, you move 1 province at a time, unless you've got some REALLY REALLY fortunate circumstances, huh?

Fortune favors the prepared mind.
Don't forget flying units either, of course. :b And Vanheim can cross the sea. Boy do I hate Vanheim. *wanders off, rambling*

Re: Can\'t move units more than 1 province
Hmm, my cavalry and priests seem able to go across rivers and woods at full speed of 2 or 3. The mountainous provinces slow them down, though. It doesn't seem like lack of survival skills impedes movement to me. They're described as simply reducing the chance of starvation.
