same nation/different pretenders/single-player vs. multi
I know this question has been answered before, but as I recall there was some confusion even among a couple of the vets in the Last thread where it came up.
I'm playing Caelum in an MP game. If I wanted to also start an SP Caelum game, with a different pretender/different map/etc., how would I go about doing that without screwing up my .2h file for my Caelum multi game? Does it store them separately for MP/SP, or will I need to rename one of them in order to avoid writing over the MP .2h file?
Thanks in advance for your help...I've been trying to wrap my head around this but scared to fiddle around with it because I don't want to break the MP game.

Just make a new game, no renaming or other fiddling required.

Re: same nation/different pretenders/single-player vs. multi
Thank you much for the quick reply.
So - just to make sure I understand correctly...I was browsing around in the /Program Files/dominionsII directory, and noticed that the .2h files were stored in their own folders, based on what the names of the games are - so everything should be happy there. But in the "newlords" folder, will the new Caelum pretender I create overwrite the old one? Or is the pretender information stored somewhere else as well?
Thanks again.

yes it will overwrite and will not interrupt the pretender design of games which have already been created.

Ah...I see.
Thanks again for your help and for assuaging my fears...I am just terminally scared of screwing things up, since this is my first MP game and I don't want to ruin it five turns in.

Just for clarity. Once your god file is sent in to the host for the first round of the game, its not used anymore. It only reads god files and the map file (text part) that first time. After that its part of the game.
So you can have a dozen games running both MP and SP will all different Versions of Caelum god.
