It keep taking me 3-4 tries to connect but i do, alot of gam,es are getting like that

I'm getting rolled by AI Caelum which explains my resulting lack of desire to make multiple attempts to connect, especially since Dominions2 totally hangs for me (under WindowsXP). I need to kill it using the task manager after the "waiting for game info" message appears.

I've been advancing against one AI (Jotuns), and messing with T'ien C'hi (which should be helping whomever is in the SE corner).
Haven't been rolled by Caelum, but then, I haven't quite got the forces I want to start advancing against them yet.

Haven't been able to connect, but neither have I had the desire to attempt it multiple times due to my AI rollage.

So much for my grand Helheim Vanheim with 1 Drain gambit, which was doing remarkably well, with a ghost king with Astral 4.
