Diplomacy problems
Ok I am in a PBW game. I accepted a gift. The next turn the gift was not there? We tried to exhange tech. I accepted the exchange and sent the message back accepting and it is not working. I try to send a message for a trade and the other part does not receive it. What am I doing wrong, what is the secret?

Re: Diplomacy problems
Make sure to handle all diplomatic Messages at the end of the turn, after issuing _all_ other orders. There is a bug where if you do diplomatic Messages before things such as move ships, add to queues, etc., sometimes your Messages are lost.

Re: Diplomacy problems
I thought I was loosing my mind, I kept sending the Messages and they never showed up. I even made sure I did it at the beginning to the turn to make sure it was done:-) duh!

Re: Diplomacy problems
I had the same problems recently. It got to the stage where my partner became angry that he had to offer a trade 3 times before it worked.

Re: Diplomacy problems
Seems this is a common problem. Should this be added to the FAQ or perhaps there should be sticky with known bugs. I did not see one on the forum. Are there other common bugs that are just part of playing SEIV. This is manageable now that I know about it.

Re: Diplomacy problems
It would be great to see a comprehensive list of bugs, a sticky would be really nice.
I have had lost Messages too.

Re: Diplomacy problems
I agree. A nice, clean sticky that lists all know bugs would be excellent.

Such as this thread?
Gamey Tactics and Bug Exploits Thread
Unfortunately the list was sent to Malfador a little too late to be used for the 1.91 patch...
