New PBW Game: Star Trek Final Frontier III

I have started another Star Trek Final Frontier game on PBW. For those of you who remember the first two games, you will want to join up as soon as possible. The game is first come first serve.

Please join only if you are willing to play through to the end. I sware to God, if you join then drop out after a few turns I will never let you join another one of my games. I have to be blunt up front in order to avoid join/drop outs.

The game will use a random map and be filled out by neutral races under AI control.

There are seven open slots with two already having been reserved. The borg for Intimidator, and the Klingons for me. That leaves the Cardassian, Dominion, Federation, Ferengi, and Romulan races.

The game will start on the 14th and have 48 hour turns.

Can I join as the Federation, The Ferengi or the Romulans ? (in that order of preference)

That said, shall I download the full mod then the 1.9.0.9 patch, or mod then 1.9.0.1 then 1.9.0.9

You just need to download the full Version 1.9.0.0 and then update with the 1.9.0.9 patch.

I have several beta's over eachother standing ... would I be okay just to install 1.9.0.9 or would it be best to uninstall and reinstall ?

Do a fresh install of 1.9.0.0 then update with 1.9.0.9.

The reason for this was because the component/faciltiy/combat/planets/and events folders were removed from the mod so that the Image Mod files would work.

OK, I'll bite... in QConflict I wanted to be the Romulans but they were taken... dammit, I swore off PBW games until SE5 was on PBW and look what I got myself into

edit: oh, never mind, I see I was too slow - the Romulans are taken again, and I'm already the Ferengi in QConflict and I don't really want to be the Cardassians...
