Thnx for any help.

Can you run it under a shell or emulator. Right click on the short cut ICON, got to properties and open the compatablity tab. See if you can run it under one of those options.

Mine works without a flaw. I think there is a patch out there, search for it.

What is far more important is that I have Moo1 running on XP.
The pinnacle of all human artistic and technical endeavours.
The end-product of our entire civilization as of 1992.

Did you upgrade to WinXP or did the machine come with it installed?

Re: OT: Anyone get MOO2 to run in WinXP?
create a dual-boot system with win98 and use win98 to play moo2 (and several other games)... i did it and now i donīt worry about xp and games...
BTW: take a look at the OCL Editor for Moo2 if you would like to mod the game.... i have it in my homepage (link in signature)...

Re: OT: Anyone get MOO2 to run in WinXP?
Firstly - I apologize for not including more info with my original note.
Secondly - thnx for all the replies.
Thirdly - re-installing it did the trick (on my desktop system at least). I suspect that it wasn't able to find all its files. Du'oh!
Now to completely re-install WinXP et al on my laptop!

Re: OT: Anyone get MOO2 to run in WinXP?
When you do an install of WinXP be sure to check out the description of the file systems. Such as FAT32 (the older file system such as Win98 used, and is usually what a machine has when its upgraded to WinXP) versus the NTFS which is prefers for a boost in perfomance on large drives (such as machines which are formatted by WinXP get by default).
Thats why when someone says a game wont run on WinXP I ask if it was an upgrade or an install. I have an NTFS C:\ drive for windows OS and apps, and a FAT32 D:\ drive for things like games. No problems, and easier than running a dual os boot.
