Re: Next turn: Paradise Lost
So if a global was cast for the minimum amount for that spell + X additional gems, to cancel it with Dispel, one just needs at least X gems above the minimum cost, right?
So even though Burden of time costs 70, and let's say 10 extra was used for 80, to cancel it one wouldn't need 50 extra pearls to cancel it (since Dispel only costs 30), right? You would only need 40 (30+X). It doesn't really make it clear in the manual.
And if there are multiple globals up, you can't choose which one to Dispel, it just randomly picks one, right?

Re: Next turn: Paradise Lost
Pretty sure you get asked which spell you want to target - it's only when one is being over-ridden by a new global that one is picked at random.
And while I have a cruddy astral income, I could put 10 astral in towards dispelling it, if someone's going to try. Hopefully others will do the same.

Re: Next turn: Paradise Lost
I will be attempting it next turn (needed to research the darn spell first, will have it after this current turn). Any donations of pearls are appreciated, and necessary to ensure dispel works.

Re: Next turn: Paradise Lost
Ok, but are there astral pearls in it (because I might try and disarm it if there are).
Otherwise, Return To Sender.
