New Shipset in progress!

Well, I've finally decided to start work on my second shipset. I only have one ship done thus far, but I would like to have any feedback on it that you can provide, especially with regard to the color scheme.

Any criticism will be very welcome!

The shape and color is nice. I especially like the golden orange lights.

Is it just me or do those nacelle thingys look like stretched out planets? Must be the texture

I like it. It might be a bit too dark for the mini images though. All in all you are off to another great start.

I'm going to try to add some "decorations" to the hull, some slightly different colored patterns, etc and see how it looks. Maybe add a few more of those lights Kevin likes

Ed, I guess they do look a little like stretched out planets. I hadn't noticed that before. I'll see what I can do with the texture I used to mitigate that effect.

Oh and I'll add a bit of lighting too, to make the mini's show up a little better than they would right now since you're right AT, they'd be a little dark.

Another couple of ships should be complete later today, though that depends on if I have to work or not... If work is in the plan for today, it'll be a little while before more ships are made.

One more thing; what size of ship do you guys think this would be?

Ok I've revised the ship a little, lightened it, added a few little things. Please tell me which you like better, the new or the old. Or some combo of the two (like the old, but with the new one's lighting or something).

Old: not quite enough lighting.
New: Maybe too much. I'm abivalent about the rings on the top, as well.

Actually, that's what I was thinking as well

I'm going to get rid of the top rings, and reduce lighting slightly as well, then I think I'll be happy with it.

What size do you think this ship should be? LC or Cruiser maybe?
