Default Is there a key for Zen\'s black unit view?

Has someone in the community made a key for Zen's black unit view? As it is now, it's very time consuming to find the unit you want in the list. All units are numbered, but has someone listed what the units are by number? Thanks in advance.

Try Edi's unit list. It has all units' id numbers, names, all their stats, all their equipment, other abilities, gold and resource costs, etc. I don't think it has been updated recently, but work on The Tome has been going on. Tome is trying to unite all different community documents into one. It might be easier to find, as I remember its name and you can google it up...

I downloaded and looked at it but for some reason the numbers are not showing up in the document.

It's hard to say what it causing it. For me, the id is listed before the name, but units are sorted by name, so finding units by number isn't easy. Maybe you should try downloading another version of the unit list? That's all I can think of right now.

The Tome is available at Arryn's site - http://www.dominions-2.org/ - as is Edi's Unit DB. The Tome can be sorted by unit name or ID# by using the filters (the drop down arrows on the title of each column). Horst and I should have a new version of the Tome out in the next week or so - it's pretty much done, but he's on a vacation and we wanted to tweak a couple more things before releasing it.

On the other hand, Edi's Unit DB is a great tool, too. That's where practically all of the unit info in the Tome came from. And I might add it was recently updated, so it currently contains the most recent unit info that I am aware of that is available for download.

The Unit DB was updated on July 24, and currently has all information up to date. The previous versionhad incorrect info for Oceanian units and was missing some of them.

I haven't made those quickie filters into the DB because they screwed up with some other things I needed to do.

You can select the data area of whatever page you are looking at and then use the Sort function in Open Office or its equivalent in Excel to arrange the units by ID number, nation or whatever you want. I've used that extensively at times.

The default sorting system in the Unit DB is sort by nation, unit name and then by ID number. Summonables are sorted by type, name and ID. Magic site recruitables are sorted by name and ID. Everything else is sorted by name and ID, iirc. The MErcenary page is untouched, because it is copied directly from Sunray's earlier unitattributes.xls database, with his permission.

I seem to have missed/forgotten about that update. Sorry about that, it seems that your Unit Database is indeed very up-to-date.
