Campaign defaults
Is there a way to change the campaign default settings, for example to USA vs 3 Russia, 200 battles and start and end date?

Yes, of course. Just click on the flag buttons under Player 1 and Player 2 and change them to what you want

Re: Campaign defaults
sorry didnt explain myself
when generating a campaign it resorts to a default set, battles 10, date etc. i seem to remember being able to change an ini file for battle generator but i was asking about the campign one. if you play constant cold war campaigns like me within a certain time period with a number of fights over 50 say its a bit tedious to click battles up, change countries, date etc

Re: Campaign defaults
No, sorry. those numbers and dates are set internally. The four nations will change for the patch though. If you usually play as the Russians you're in luck

Re: Campaign defaults
No plans to. We changed it to increment by one's rather than fives because most people play less than 20 battles in a campaign. If you played the maximum number of battles in a campaign that would require a 10 click button to make it easier ....how often, realistically, would you actually use it?. 200 battles... even if you played two per day is 100 days in between set ups and it's only 35 seconds to click from 10 to 200. Have you actually ever finished a 200 game campaign? You're HQ would be supermen by then methinks.

That's what I figured even allowing for a lot of core units to be fully replenished over time there would end up being a number of uber infantry running about. I know we allow 200 battles in a campaign but really, 20 to 30 is usually the most people play. Even 60 is very rare in my experience
