HELP MY GAME WONT START

whenever i try to turn on my gamei get this really annoying pop up that says
"exeption Exeption in moduale starfury.exe at 0006b12b.TDirectX.StartAll - Create Z Buffer
Support is currently not availible. W:1280 H:1024."

Perhaps your monitor doesn't support the resolution you've selected... try 1024x768?

i did, along with a buch of othe things. my monitior has worked nicely with the 1600 x 1200 or whatever. in fact i use that to play starfury all the time. perhaps late sometime at least one of my game will like me.

Has your video card or video driver changed since you last played Starfury? What version of Starfury are you trying to play, and what version worked for you?

no i have not done anthing since i gut starfury. i cant think of anything i might have done to deserve this

Have you tried updating directx?

You could also backup your savegame and reinstall starfury if that dosen't help.

yes and no
i have the directX9c verion
and i have tried installing the game to a diffent part of my hard drive. it doesnot work either.
