for those that like to make shipsets, there is an excellent (IMHO) freeware 3D model proggy at www.discreet.com called gmax. It will be included in other games (Dungeon Siege for instance). I am currently going thru the turorial. It appears to be easier than Moray/POVray to use.
Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have a new racestyle/shipset available using it.
Well, unfortunately, It does not have a rendering engine included. So basically, I'l have to make a model, then print screen image, then edit in graphics prog.
