Points Selection
Hi,
Under SPWaW in a PBEM game players 2 points were determined by what player 1 spent. Knowing now that SPMBT and SPWaW use different engines is this the same?
The reason I ask is that I have the points set to 10,000 and I know I only spent about half but my opponent seems to have far more equipment than me and I suspect he might have spent the full allotment.

Re: Points Selection
IIRC:
It matters what is set in preferences. If Player #2s point setting in preferences is "XXX" then the number of points they receive will be set based on the mission type and how many points player 1 spent.
If player #2 has a number instead of the Xs, then they will have that actual number available, regardless of what player 1 used and/or mission type.

Re: Points Selection
holdon that makes no sense.
That means that if I have 3000 points for player 2 thats what I will always have regardless of what player 1's points are?

Re: Points Selection
No, that means if you set up a game, and enter 3000 points for player 2, thats what he is gonna get regardless how many points you used.

Re: Points Selection
No, player's 2 prefernce doesnt matter, at least I never noticed anything like this happened. Quite opposite, his preferences will be replaced by the ones you emailed him.
