 Is it worth trying the Trillian Basic (as in, I don't want to pay $20 for mIRC)? I am almost completely clueless about IRC nowadays since the time you could easily hook up via some UNIX connection at school...
 I'm actually surprised I'm still in the game, considering all the "big boys".

 I used Trillian basic for ages, its fine.  Tho I mentioned it only because I was already using it for all my IM needs: it supports MSN, ICQ, Yahoo, AIM.  Just so happens to support IRC as well, which is why it was convenient for me to use.  If all you are looking for is an IRC client, MIRC might be the way to go?  Up to you. |
