Deluxe and TDM Mod - No Music

I tried to do a search but no dice

I had the SEIV Standard edition, installed and patched to the deluxe edition. When I play the unmodded version, their is music. However, when I install the TDM Mod the music doesn't play.

By default SEIV with TDM has the music volume to 0%..but it won't let me change it to a higher volume.

So how do I enable SEIV music with the TDM Mod

Update: I realise that the TDM Mod is doing something really weird.

When I start the game with the TDM Mod, there is no music AND the ministers don't work correctly. For example, in the original unmodded SEIV (all versions), I am able to call on my ministers to automatically launch satellites that is made on planets. I just click on "mines/sats/drones" on the minister window and toggle the minster on the planet. However, with TDM MOd installed this does not work anymore.

Does anyone know why? I have installed it correctly and followed the install instructions.

What version of the TDM mod are you using? The only way "compatible" with deluxe is 3.60, as it has the updated lines for the music tracks in the settings.txt file.

Captain Kwok. I got version 3.60. Last night realised that it was the settings.txt file...so I copied all the tracks to the TDM setting file...and the music seems to be working now. The only problem now is the "minister" for mines/sats/drones not launching sats for planets automatically.

Did you assign those planets to be under minister control? There is an icon at the top.

Do you have the 1.94 patch? The game is supposed to be associating the old style track numbers with default music file names now.

Fyron, are you talking about the 1.94 patch for SEIV? Yeah I downloaded the deluxe version patch...the one that turns your SEIV standard to deluxe 1.94.

I have also toggled the planet minister control.

I have also noticed now that the minister will only work once it has launched two sets of satellites...then it will stop working. Can anyone test this and verify it? ie Create some sats and make sure its on "repeat order" or repeat construction...then toggle the minister control. After two turns the minister will launch sats but after that it won't anymore.

I'm sorry that you have troubles with TDM. I think the trouble with your music is because of the first line in the settings.txt: The switch "Allow CD music" must be set to "true". I have no idea what is wrong with your ministers, so.

Thank's mephisto..will try that change to the setting text. Can you confirm whether the mines/sats/drones minister in your game works as it is intended ie. the minister should automatically launch sats on a planet every turn.
