...the "Polypal Mother" - is she like a polyp, or does she have lots of friends?

I wouldn't want to be friends with someone whose wail caused death and/or stunning, so I'm guessing she's like a polyp. Even if other nicer people were friends with her, she might accidentally kill them when she was anguished.

And, in that case, she sounds gross.
