Default Ulm Shaman Question

Not sure if this is a bug or not, I was playing EA Ulm and had a number of Shamans that were following my armies to cast bless on my sacred troops. The problem was when I moved to attack other forces, my shamans would not appear on the battlefield and did not cast any spells. When I went back to the strategic map, they were always on hide as their orders.

Any ideas?

Must be stealthy. Stealthy stacks -- stealthy commanders with no non-stealthy troops -- default to sneaking when entering enemy provinces. Use ctrl-click when moving them to force an attack.

Yes, if sneaky commander can sneak he will do so by default. If you want to make sure he moves normally and attacks a province use CTRL when clicking on province.

You can see how someone moves by arrows too. Normal arrows (reddish/brownish or whatever that color is) are for normal movement. Grey arrows are for sneaky movement.

Also, check commanders orders before hitting end turn to see if someone doing something you don't want him to do. It's good to double check if you are new to this game. Later on you will get a hang of it and these surprises will became rare.
