Hotfix or not? Developer comment would be good.

I know from at least 1 MP game which stalled because of the Horror bug which comes with 3.01.

The game isn't started now but we don't know what to do.

Should we start with 3.01 and hope that noone cries because his pretender dies in a horror attack in the second round of the game or should we downgrade to 3.00, instruct all player how to do this and start 1 day before illwinter comes with a hotfix.

So a developer comment about a possible hotfix would be very good to give us some points to start the game later or with/without a patch.

Yes could u give us MP people some idea, when it will be fixed. All 4 MP's I am in have stalled (I think we r all hoping for a fix), if it's not anytime soon then we can go back to v3.00.

In 3.00, Horror Marking can kill your pretender. This has been changed for 3.01. I didn't test the spell itself, but horrors killing a Risen Oracle multiple times won't cause him so severe Horror Mark he would be killed every turn.

I think it's possible to change Hall of Fame via some command line parameters. If it can be switched to 0, there won't be any Heroes to be attacked by the Hunter.

Would it be possible to make a mod that significantly weakens the units that Horror Mark sends? (I admit, I haven't tried to look at the modding commands)

Weakening the Hunter of Heroes should be easy enough. He is the only horror affected by the bug.

Fix yes, but hot no. It will be fixed in the next patch. I don't know when it will be ready but it won't be this week.

I'm sorry to hear that, since the Doom Horror bug makes the current patch kinda worthless by completely wrecking MP games.
