Default Apparnetly I have really good cloaking..

In one of my games I'm using sats as border guards. Ships warp in, they don't warp out.

On one point I have 22 sats. At least that's what I SHOULD have, and that's what the main screen says. But in the sector view, and in combat, I have only 3..

In another hex, I keep moving sats closer to the WP, and the next turn POOF, they're in another spot. Maybe the ones on the first point migrated away.

Sure the sats aren't just placed 'on' each other? I've noticed that the second time you deploy units in a hex which previously has units, they will all be placed at the exact same location, i.e. stacked onto each other.

Not sure about the migrating satellites, haven't seen anything like that O_O
