Re: Time passes for all.
when you click on fatigue it will give you the units current age and in parenthesis the age at which they acquire old age.

Re: Time passes for all.
Another very expensive option for controlling old age is empowerment.
E.g. if you have a fantastic astral mage that is about to get old, you can spend the nature gems and upgrade him/her to nature 1 to give you 5 (I think 5) more years of youth.

Re: Time passes for all.
It's worth noting that not all creatures become infirm and suffer afflictions with old-age. This isn't something directly affecting gameplay, but certain creatures-krakens, aboleths, etc. actually grow continuously stronger with age. I made a case for this as an in-game effect which would counter-balance aging, but so far haven't heard any good news about the idea being adapted. Still, I think it's worth mentioning.

Very good idea.
Dragons for example are usually pictured as becoming more powerful with age, such creatures could still reach infirmed age, but before then become more powerful.
Who are the the people behind the game on the forum and how often do they read such things and consider them/talk to people about em?

Re: Very good idea.
I was told there was only two of them in the whole company. One of which is their only programmer. I'm assuming mindi and annetta and that they are both female (based on name and female avatar) Hoping to get confirmation of this.

My name is black because Im a moderator.
Mindi and Annette are part of the publishing company Shrapnel Games which prints the game and hosts this forum.
Kristoffer and Johan are the games developers. Johan is the programmer. And Kristoffer teaches comparative religion, he is the one who comes up with the concepts (nations, units, spells, etc) and I think alot of the artwork.

Ah so its not just two people. It is only one programmer in the whole company though?
Do they use screen names same as their actual names?
Any of them who have say in how the game goes/what they add read the forum and consider/talk to people about what they want much?

Shrapnel Games is the publisher. Illwinter Game Design is the developer. The credits in the beginning of manual describe the various contributors. The graphics (except for some maps) and the programming are done by Kristoffer O and Johan K (those are the names they use on these forums). There's also Johan O, who isn't a developer but a brother to one. Bug thread was started by Kristoffer, as an example, and the first 10 pages of the bug thread at least have been edited by one or the other while they've marked out bugs they've fixed.

Re: company size
They do definetly read the forum and reply altho mostly they allow the conversations to progress and just keep an eye on them. There is also the beta testing group which is very active here and acts as middleman for anything that the devs might miss seeing here.
So dont sweat that comments might be missed or ignored.
