Re: Turn 4
Another eventful turn is out. Boy! This is an ambitious crowd of power hungry pretenders! In front of the bunch, Arco looks like he's drugged his horses to sprint hard... can he keep it up much longer before hitting neighbors?
Helheim's horses are running hard, too? What did he feed those things for breakfast? No doubt something unnatural stolen from the afterlife.
Deadline for the turn is Thursday at 9pm Boston time.

It's not a sprint...it's a marathon.

pwnd!
How does that old song go... "For the lack of a Move and Patrol order, the kingdom was lost"? Well, more for the exact wrong confluence of my mistake, my long-term strategy, my tactic, and an opponent's surprises. Oh Valhalla, how you have abandoned us.
Ouch. Well, the Vanir are far from gone, but it's going to be hard to catch up from a kick so early and intensely unlucky. These are the ways a multiplayer-newbie learns, I suppose, but it's a pain to get knocked out of the running so early.
But hey, anyone who plans to take punitive strikes on Helheim in the future has an ally

Delay
2 players have not played their turn, and Ygorl will be out of town on Saturday. I will postpone hosting until Saturday morning, and the next turn will be due on Sunday night.
By the way, how strict do players want me to be about handing out stale turns if a player fails to get his turn in on time?

Re: Delay
Personally, I prefer a player to take his turn.
If that means a delay of upto 48hrs fine. Longer than that, stale them...

Re: Delay
I vote to let the host use his judgement. Pasha runs a zillion email games, so he has a good idea of when delays are typical and unavoidable and when they are getting out of hand.
