Default Does anyone still play SEIV?

I was going to go back to work on a mod I had abondoned but then SEV came out, personally I disliked the demo so much I didn't buy the game.

So I was wondering does anyone still play SEIV? or would making a public mod be a waste of my time?

I still play. It's limited to three PBW games, of which none are really all that active. The only one with consistent turns is CBWeekly #1, and that's only because the turns automagically process every week, even when less than half the players submit turn files each week. P&N Syndicate Wars seems to be on a roughly one turn/month schedule. Ditto with CB#2, except maybe a little more time between turns than P&N. Playing time has slacked off with the transition from full time student to full time working-for-the-Man peon, and the move to an entirely different area. I might play more, except I haven't gotten around to getting a desk for my desktop, and playing on the floor is a bit uncomfortable. And alas, my Powerbook cannot run SEIV or SEV (Dominions 3 works great though )

As long as you get enjoyment out of spending your time on it, you are not wasting your time.

Oh Hell Yeah !!!

I still play Space Empires IV, and always will. I fell in love with the many subtleties of the game, and all it's possible options, and now I still can't get enough of it....

I still play and would have interest for a new mod.
