Re: CampaignHack Not Working...
OK.... WHICH "campaigns I downloaded off the wargamer." gave this error ????? That is obviously useful information for us. It saves a lot of guessing.

Re: CampaignHack Not Working...
Sorry about that Don!
The Invasion Sweeden 1943 Campaign for SPWW2; and the CENTAG '78 campaign for SPMBT: I'm attaching them to this post.
I think that both campaigns are from the old DOS days, which is why I also tried out the "Convert DOS Campaign" option as well...
File Directories are:
----------
E:\SPCAMO\WinWW2-CD (for game and campaignhack)
C:\011 Invasion Sweden (Campaign Source Directory)
----------
E:\SPCAMO\WinSPMBT-CD (for game and campaignhack)
C:\Centag78 (Campaign Source Directory)
Hope this helps.

Re: CampaignHack Not Working...
OK here's what I have for you
I tried the WW2 campaign and got the same error messages you did. I recompiled campaignhack, tried again and it worked perfectly. When I had tried to run that campaign before converting it would not run properly
Then I tried the MBT campaign you provided BEFORE doing any recompiling and it converted the campaign perfectly. I cleared that copy then tried a fresh "CENTAG" again. This time I tried running it in the game before converting and it worked OK. In fact when "converted" it just leaves you with a HQ. Before it's converted you are provided with a number of units that do NOT show up after it's converted. MY problem here is I am not familiar with what this campaign is supposed to look like but I'm betting it's supposed to have units so in this case it might be best to run it without converting ( ?? ) I tried renumbering it and that worked OK as well
Did you try playing CENTAG "as is " ??

Re: CampaignHack Not Working...
Just tried CENTAG in SPBMT as is, and it works.
From the preview text when I select it, it's a SPMBT 1.5 campaign, and works fine.
The only problem I have is that the slot it uses 008, overwrites the default 008 2 PARA at Falklands 1982 campaign, which is why I was trying to use CampaignHack with it; so I could quickly renumber it automatically...
Anyway, thanks for your reply and work in figuring out what was going on here, I appreciate it.

Re: CampaignHack Not Working...
Here's what I did to renumber it. I'm not saying this should be the "standard procedure" it's just the way I handled it in testing becasue I didn't want sub folders perhaps throwing a wrench into the works
I renamed the campaigns folder ( CampaignsX will do ) then made a new Campaigns folder and dropped CENTAG into it. Then I started up campaign hack and selected a new slot for it and it renumbered them. Then all you'd need to do is copy all the contents of the old Campaigns folder into the new one and you're done.
There have been so many changes to the game over the years that building one utility that converts every verson perfectly is difficult so some campaigns may have "special needs"
