T\'ien Chi\' - Questions
I was curious about a few things, I'm playing Tien Chi in an EA game.
1. What effects do lady of fortune and jade emperor have?
2. Are those effects only limited to the actual province that they're in, or is it in every province that you have positive dominion?
3. Do they provide their luck benefit while they're imprisoned/asleep?
I was thinking of maybe doing a double bless strat with the good luck male guy, with astral for twist fate and water for quickness.
Any suggestions?

Re: T\'ien Chi\' - Questions
Errhh... It's really in their descriptions.
1. Better chance of fortunate events/cancels out bad events
2. Just the province they are currently residing in.
3. No.
W9A9 dual bless is a tremendously defensive bless strategy. EA T'ien C'hi is a rather poor choice for this since their sacred troops are fairly lacking in killing power. If you wish to go for a bless strategy then perhaps Fire 9 and Death 9 is a better choice.

Re: T\'ien Chi\' - Questions
Which pretender would you use for Fire 9 Death 9? Maybe I could do Fire 9 Water 9.
I thought that with dual wielding blades that quickness would give them a big advantage as they'd get double the amount of attacks?

Defense is good and yes they will have 4 attacks and act twice in a melee round. Anything that stops your troops dieing is good. The S9 bless that gives twist of fate is a excellent and underused bless.

Re: T\'ien Chi\' - Questions
Actually, afaik, they will have on average 3 attacks due to w9 bless only granting 50% quickness(the defence is really good and greatly helps survivability due to them already having elemental resistances)

Re: T\'ien Chi\' - Questions
How much dominion would you guys recommend for a double bless strat with EA T'ien Chi? I was thinking of using the lady of the water as a base, and then getting dom 6-7 without toally wrecking my scales. Probably drain-2 because it would really add to the magic resistance, and it's a minor niggle to research. T'ien seem to have really good researchers that give 8 research for cheap gold, and low upkeep (because they're sacred).

Re: T\'ien Chi\' - Questions
I like w9/f9 if you're going a rush strat. If going a more mid gamish strat, a better build might just be a plain w9 with scales or w9/n4 -n6 (this is for mainly water demons).
Also get body ethereal and luck after you get water demons to really make them beefy.
