Lunacratera Beta (Works Now)
OK, it is working now.
Lunacratos attempts to lead his werewolf brethren to victory in the coming Ascension Wars.
This is an open beta, so post your opinions right here.
Special notes:
-DV doesn't exist so Roclies are blind
-AOE doesn't work for missles so Moonmitas and Moonmitos have many attacks each round
-the descriptions for the nation and Lunacratos are cut short, if you want to see the whole story you will have to check out the text document

Re: Lunacratera Beta
I still can't seem to get it uploaded. I take the folder with all the tgas and then I take the dm document and I send them to a compressed (zipped) folder. Then I try to attach the zip and this comes up:
Warning: move_uploaded_file(/home/forum/www/threads/uploads/519247-mods.rar): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/forum/public_html/threads/modifypost.php on line 449
Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpDruHVz' to '/home/forum/www/threads/uploads/519247-mods.rar' in /home/forum/public_html/threads/modifypost.php on line 449
Warning: chmod(): No such file or directory in /home/forum/public_html/threads/modifypost.php on line 450
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/forum/public_html/threads/modifypost.php:449) in /home/forum/public_html/threads/ubbt.inc.php on line 318
What am I doing wrong? I should add that in this particular case I was trying rar but the results are the same.

Re: Lunacratera Beta
Nothing, the server is glitched. This happens sometimes. Wait a few hours and try again. I am having the same issue with my update to my Rohan mod, and I have had this issue before. It seems to work itself out.
The good news is, you can go play your Pangaea turn in our blitz game since your holding everyone up

Re: Lunacratera Beta
What you have so far is a good start.
I played them using a earth9/nature9. This bless worked pretty good with the double axe werewolves. The protection from the earth bless was wasted I think, but the reinvigoration, regen and berserk turned them into killing machines.
I received two heroes during my first game with this nation. The werewolf with the white cloak and the R'lyeh spy. Both heroes were useful which is great.
The only national spell I was able to try before I won my game was the summon Moonmitos. Their magic attack was devastating, but never once did the stun effect work. I had about 50 of these guys I was toting around so I expected to see it work at least one time against massive armies.
It's pretty fun so far. The attack animations are a bit of a let down, I hope you add better ones as you work on this mod. Especially the double axe guy, it should not be difficult at all to create a wicked cool attack animation for him; just tilting the axe forward would go a long way to making him look cool when he fought.
I will play a larger map next time so I have a chance to test the nation specific evocations and the other construction spell.

Re: Lunacratera Beta
I assume you mean Moonmitas? They are the small ones. I may have to scale back their attack power a bit. I think you are confusing stun with paralyze. Stun just increases fatigue.
The Berserker and the Soldier will probably be the first ones to receive a more proper attack sprite.
As far as the heroes go, you got the two most interesting ones IMO.
I am also interested in what people think about the pricing of things.
Thanks for the feedback!

Re: Lunacratera Beta
Oh ok, then it is working fine. I did notice higher fatigue on the units that were being hit that survived the high damage of the attack.
I used the R'lyeh spy to jack up the unrest in a capital that was being sieged by a second enemy .
I didn't notice any insane prices on any of the units, but I was not really paying attention that game. Next game I will look them over and let you know what I think on pricing.

Re: Lunacratera Beta
The Pangaean spy is even better at the unrest game.

Re: Lunacratera Beta
A werewolf mod !!!
Let us chase down those worm eaten vampires !
Seriously it's a very good mod, very original gameplay. (small combat groups of elite werewolfs)
At last a defender of nature not crippled by maenads, or trying to imitate civilised factions.(just don't understand how to play cradle of gaea)
