Default pinning armies

Can an army move out of a province and attack another one if it was attacked in the magic phase?

For instance, does teleporting 1 guy on top of an army during the magic phase, and then having him retreat pin that army in the province? Or do they have a chance of moving after the battle?

They will move after the magic battle. (Any commanders that survived, anyway.)

If one guy does not kill or rout them, they will move. If you want to prevent them from moving at all, you have to account for all commanders.

From the book - magic movement, battle, normal movement, battle. So commanders with a normal movement order will follow it after the first battle, and possibly fight twice.

A nice way when playing on your own is to cast "Wrathful Skies", wait for them to come, and run away. It can kill many, and disrupt moving. It is very funny when mages live and move, but the castellans who lead armies dies.
