SEIII
Where can I find a patch that allows me to patch from 1.02 to 1.17, 16 or 15? I have 1.02 and the current patches say I have to patch only at 1.15 to get to 1.16 and 1.16 to get to 1.17

Isn't the shareware version downloadable from malfador.com version 1.15 already?

Don't you remember punching in your license code way back when?

Re: SEIII
I got it from a friend, so no.
Btw, are there any scenarios for space empires V? I only saw a couple for space empires IV.

I never got SE3.
Would I like it after playing SE4?

Re: SEIII
Download the shareware and find out; its essentially a complete game, just without the higher tech levels (eg: up to cruiser or maybe BC ship size, no stellar manip). The two games have a lot of stark differences, so you can't really say you'd like one just because you like the other.

Re: SEIII
SE3 and SE4 should be considered, in some aspects, cousins and not direct relatives. Aaron made a lot of changes between the two games, such as the build-queue system might throw you for a loop.
And remember -- Right-click when in doubt.
