Re: Consecrated Ground: EA PBEM (Forming)
Sure Homer. Are you saying you need 20 more hours? I will add another 24 to the timer.

Re: Consecrated Ground: EA PBEM (Forming)
I totally spaced and just remembered that I'll be on vacation from September 30th to October 6th. So, I'll need a sub for that week. Putting the word out early.

Re: Consecrated Ground: EA PBEM (Forming)
Hey, Evilhomer? Peace, war? Uneasy joining of the two? We had that unfortunate early skirmish, and once this turn's over I'll be committed to a course of action.
I am willing to make amends for this series of accidental conflicts... but I'm not eager for the delay of in-game communications.
Neifelheim is often known as a rush nation, so I'm a bit nervous. As well, I'm in the middle of negotiations with Ermor... though my opening offer wasn't greeted quite like I hoped (They took the two provinces I'd hoped for), I might be able to negotiate a lesser peace.
I don't need an immediate pact, but I am a little uncertain of what to do, other than refer to Sun-Tzu, Chapter IV, verse 15. I'm often too impetuous - that's costing me in Doom Chicken.
"Thus it is that in war the victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won, whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterward looks for victory."
I'm trying to avoid the recklessness of the second part. I will withdraw from Plothai this turn. I am moving on the Sinks, however.

Re: Consecrated Ground: EA PBEM (Forming)
Hey all..
I haven't been able to find a sub for me playing R'lyeh from September 29th through October 6th. Thrawn has the password if y'all find someone to make sure the trains run on time. Otherwise, hopefully I'll be lucky and there won't be a rush into the water while I'm gone.

Lazy: Use personal messages, easier to see that someone wants something, since I'm not always checking each thread.

I forget sometimes, but I'll try to keep that in mind. A bit of a force of habit.

Thraveboy, do you plan on doing a turn today? Or, are you already gone? Just seeing when I need to pause hosting.

Re: Consecrated Ground: EA PBEM (Playing)
Yeah, I'd love to do my turn today. I'm leaving at 2:15 PST so hopefully Ermor will do their turn so that I can do one more iteration before I leave.
Thanks a lot!

Re: Consecrated Ground: EA PBEM (Playing)
Postponed hosting until either we find a temporary sub or Thraveboy returns. Will start looking for a sub. If you guys know anyone who might want to play R'lyeh for a week, let me know...
