Disk and CD Key question!
Hello!
I've unfortunately got a sad question:
I moved recently, and in the process of moving, I "lost" a box full of DVDs and PC games. Apparently the moving truck just somehow lost track of a giant box full of the only valuable thing that moved!
This included Dominions 3 and my CD key.
Is there any way for me to cancel my old CD key (though I don't know the exact key, I do have all my order information from my emails) and to get a new disk and CD Key?

Re: Disk and CD Key question!
I hear the Shrapnel customer service is quick and friendly. Don't worry, they aren't Comcast.

Hmm, fair enough. I'll post a ticket on Gamers Front and see how they reply.
(Or is there a better way?)

Re: Disk and CD Key question!
If you have installed the game on your computer and you can still get hold of your computer, I believe the key is in a file called "key" in your dominions folder.
Also you can just copy the entire dominions folder to another place. Dominions apparently does not write anything to registry (windows version).

Re: Disk and CD Key question!
Unfortunately, Dominions was not installed on my computer. I just noticed the 3.10 patch and decided to give it a try!

Wow!
They took care of me!
There was a small (< $10) fee to have a new manual shipped, but that's great!

Re: Disk and CD Key question!
Did you have to prove you had previously bought a copy?

Fortunately, krawn had purchased the game directly from our online store. We were able to verify his purchase based on the information he provided when he created his customer support request.
