OT: I may have too much time on my hands...
The classic SE5 box, created entirely out of SE5 art.
NOTE: This picture, and the ones that follow it are pretty gosh-darn big (~1MB), so if you're on dial-up you may want to save them to your computer first. Or pass on them entirely. But then you'd be missing all kinds of goodness.

And here be one of David's creations. Frankly, I like his more. But then his doesn't have space ships made out of DG's head, now does it?

I have a poster of Darth Vader like that, made from scenes from the movies, that I found it in a little shop in Cornwall.

These are cool. I'm assuming you have some program that does these? I'm thinking if you were doing them by hand it would take you months.

Very very nice. I would also like to know how you did these.

Re: OT: I may have too much time on my hands...
I'm wondering if there is enough colors in the avatars in my emporium to generate pics. Might be cool, sort of 'Icon art' where each Icon=1 pixel in pic.
anyways, cool pics. I noticed an unusual amount of my protrait throughout the se5 cover pic. lol, I can be so vain
Cheers!

Re: OT: I may have too much time on my hands...
David, I'd be very interested in finding out. If there's some way you can think of that I can get my greasy mitts on the emporium, I'll see what I can come up with. And actually, you show up a lot in all of the pictures because I didn't realize that the program I used doesn't support .bmps, so it only used 899 out of the 2,353 pictures I pulled out of SE5's pictures directory.
And Narf: Very, very slowly. Each of those pictures is scaled down from ~100MB, 24 Megapixel+ versions. They could wind up much, much bigger, of course, but I made sure that the input file was only 640x480 at the most. Probably a good thing too, since manipulating them uses ~1.5GB of my 2GB of RAM
