Try this next time for a fun multiplayer SEIV game.
I'm in a PBW game called Dimension X.
10 starting planets each + 6 players + medium quadrant = A WHOLE LOT GOING ON REAL FAST!
Turn 36 and already we have a MAJOR drop drop all out 4 empire war going on. Big fleet battles. Ships going everywhich way.
I may get smoked soon, but it's a bLast. I highly recommend it.

*LOL* Right on...
Mid Tech? High Tech?...Or Low Tech?
Whats the size of some of those fleets? I usually try for individual ship superiority, coz I dont like fumbling with a huge fleet... but Im interested to hear about how big some of these battles get... And how long ya gotta wait for the strategic combat to end *LOL*

Re: Try this next time for a fun multiplayer SEIV game.
We went with a medium tech start.
One of my fleets with 25 ships just knocked out one of his with 15. (Well, 14 after one of them decided he liked the odds better on my side. I love intel. )
I have another enemy approaching from my other border with another fleet of 10-15. My ally has yet to get involved in the fight, but I expect him to come riding to the rescue soon. (I hope.)

Awesome...
Hey this wouldnt happen to be the same game that you and JMench's thread is based upon is it?
Just asken... I love that thing *LOL* Good reading when bored at work... and its got me documenting the **** that happens in my game... *heh*
I would like to see an independent story thread.. just lil snippits of interesting encounters and what not... glorified no doubt, but all in the name of entertainment...

Assuming he doesn't run into a meat grinder, heh. I loved that little Cold War we had going- open war, but no one's shooting!
10 to one against my fleet's chances on this next turn though.
Cynapase: no, it's not the same game.

Heh, you'll see shooting soon if you try going forward with that fleet of yours.
Yeah, the cold war was fun. That was some of my best BS I was throwing at you. And I do like the BS.

*LOL @ "I do love the bull****"*
Ahh politics... as much as I hate them, they're a double-edged sword... a cold war sounds fun *lol* There are little things you miss when playing soley against the AI *rolls his eyes* Gotta get a damn multiplayer goen soon...soon as my lazy-*** partner orders himself a copy... kinda hard to play with someone who's using the demo - Or is that possible? (Hell even if it is, whats the fun in that? I dont want crippled opponents *lol*)

You can play them if you both use the demo. We even have support for it on PBW.

Re: Try this next time for a fun multiplayer SEIV game.
Coolness...I think its worth waiting though, ya dont get that same sense of power unless you can close a warp point on some unsuspecting bastard *winks*
I will havta check out PBW though for current and upcoming Multiplayer games. Need to sharpen my edge, so to speak... I can already tell that most here are fully trained for human opponents *LOL*
After a few weeks of fighting the AI ya start to get a bit lazy, thinken ya can always outsmart him if he throws something unexpected your way... but a human, ****. Should make for some nice blood letting...and of course politics...

Geo: who's going forward? I'm going *sideways*. I do hope those are construction bases..

heh, so do I. Not so good at it, but I love finding really complicated ways of saying "screw you".
